From the past Linux has been considered a very secure operating system. This is still true today. Many people don't install security applications. However, usually it makes sense to do so and this is why I made these short guides. If you disagree with the fact of securing a Linux desktop, please ignore these guides.

Currently, there are many Anti-Virus programs for Linux. Most of these are Commercial however. If you feel that a Anti-Virus program is necessary, please try these programs.
