It is a DVD - check the settings in Nero.
Do you know how to burn ISO files?
In my Nero (old version in XP pro that I still have around) you go into "Archive > Burn Image"
And have you checked the MD5 sum?

how do I burn this image to a DVD
One evening I ran out of CD-R discs, but I had a full spool of DVD-Rs. Nero 6 complained about burning a CD image onto a DVD disc.

So, I downloaded DVD Decryptor, which is mainly intended to decode DVDs, but it can also burn a CD/DVD image file (ISO) onto any writable disc with appropriate capacity. It's free software, though runs under MS Windows.

I haven't yet tinkered with Linux-based CD/DVD burner software.

Any guess/suggestion what mistake im doing in settings of NERO?
Sorry - no. It should just burn if you use Archive>Burn ISO
(or what ever the option is called)
