Occasionally I get the following error when trying to open an application.
Could not grab your mouse.
A malicious client may be eavesdropping on your session or
you may have just clicked a menu or some application just
decided to get focus.
Try again.
The most recent occurrence was a few minutes ago when I clicked on Package Manager.
It still happened after a reboot.
Would someone kindly tell me what generatres this error and, more importantly, how I can prevent it.

By memory this can occur by some unnecessary gnome updates which effect the mint menu. Not sure which ones.
