And please use gksu(do) or kdesu for a GUI application - there is a small chance using sudo destroys your log in - it's possible to solve though

Well - I don't think it can handle my handwriting

I just got a bamboo fun, and followed this HOW_TO http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p= ... ostcount=1 in the Ubuntu forums, and was up and running in less than 30 minutes. I've never used a tablet before, but it seems to work great in Gimp.
