Linux Mint Logos
I created versions of the standard and KDE Linux Mint logos for some wallpapers I made and I thought I'd share them here just in case anyone might find them useful:

Re: Linux Mint Logos
Unfortunately all the special effects I applied to the logos were done in a bitmap tool not a vector one (i.e. I created them in Photoshop not Illustrator).ed@Mint wrote:Though i am (unfortunately) no graphist guy (trying to help in different ways ),
wouldn't it be nice to put them as svg files for others to work with those ?
Though you're right that SVG is generally a better format for logos, so I'm not sure if these PNGs will be useful to anyone.
Re: Linux Mint Logos
Here's my attempt at vectorizing the logo;

Maybe someone else can use this?

Re: Linux Mint Logos - Updated!
This is a great idea!
I uploaded my chromed logos for download.
I based these two on Jernaus logos - a great artist he is!
Click image to download a zipped archive containg both logos as separate PNG-files on a transparent background.

Great work.
I've been thinking about the XFCE & Fluxbox edition as well, I'll see what I can come up with if I can find the time...

PNG versions of my plastic versions of the official Linux Mint logos - Main and KDE edition, both in a zipped archive with transparent background.

I don't think I would change that, but would still like to see what you come up with.
Like your wallpapers too.

Is there's any particular look of wallpaper or any other type of artwork you want for the XFCE-edition, just let me know, and I'll give it a try.

Re: Linux Mint Logos
Hey Zwopper, the chromed mint logo's never appeared in the .zip file, two files were empty after I extracted them (just a tiled background).
